Looking for some new back to school recipes to surprise the kids with this year? Look no further! This post contains 22+ recipes that are not only delicious, but cheap and easy to make, too!
It’s time! The back to school rush is on nationwide.
Throughout the south, kids have already been back in school for a week or more, but here we don’t start school until the week before/after Labor Day, so my kids are lucky enough to have a little time left.
However, that hasn’t stopped me from preparing our usual Back to School Recipes list.
So far, we have pancakes and a few loaves of homemade bread in the freezer.
This week, I’m hoping to find some time to make French Toast sticks, some muffins and maybe scones, too.
We’ll see…
Preparing these breakfast foods ahead of time, makes my life so much easier!
When it’s 6:00 am and the kids are running around, searching for a “shirt that matches these pants”, I don’t have to stress over making breakfast – I can just open the freezer and pull out something that is already made.
It works for simple lunches, too. My oldest does not like to take sandwiches for lunch and she’d much rather find a baggie, full of cold Homemade Chicken Nuggets, with some ketchup, in her lunchbox.
Now, if only I could get my butt in gear to get more in the freezer for easy dinners!
ANYWAY, today, I thought it would be fun to share some of our favorite Back to School recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
No – these are not all simple, 5 minute recipes.
However, if you take the time on a Saturday or Sunday to make a few different options, you’ll save yourself a TON of time during the week!
Believe me, it’s so worth it!
So, let’s get started…
