4 Ingredient DIY Floor Cleaner

DIY Floor Cleaner

Cleaning the floors is likely one of your most dreaded household chores. The nasty, chemical smells that come from store-bought floor cleaners probably make it a whole lot worse, too. Especially if you have allergies or sensitivities to strong smells. Plus, those same chemical smells are toxic to you, your family and your pets.

So, why not make your own floor cleaner?

My homemade floor cleaner solution is super simple to make, plus it works great and smells amazingly clean and fresh! It uses safe, effective ingredients that you probably already have at home and it cleans grime off the floors with the swipe of your mop.

Here’s the recipe…

DIY Floor Cleaner Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol)
  • 1 tablespoon Palmolive Ultra Anti-Bacterial Dish Soap – Orange Scent (optional)

Directions:

Combine water, vinegar, alcohol and dish soap in a large spray bottle. Shake to combine.

Spray your DIY floor cleaner all over the floor and mop as usual.
