Do you love to freak out your family and friends? Use these 5 Freaky Halloween Goody Bag Treats to gross out anyone…
It’s so much fun to watch the reaction on their faces when they open something that looks disgusting.
Because the “eww-factor” is already so high, Halloween is the perfect holiday for grossing out your friends and loved ones.
The list below contains 5 Freaky Halloween Goody Bag Treats that are perfect for class parties, trick-or-treaters or even favors at your own Halloween celebration.
Poop
Get creative with this one…it always gets a laugh from everyone and there are so many ways to do it.
Fill your goody bags with miniature marshmallows, then label the baggies with a tag that says “Ghost Poop”.
Instead of marshmallows, fill the treat bags with orange cheese balls and label your goody bags with “Pumpkin Poop”.
** Healthy Version – Use a miniature scoop to create balls of different colored melon such as honeydew, cantaloupe or watermelon.
Monster Munch
Here’s another idea for you to have fun with. Monster Munch can be made up of so many things! Here’s 2 ways –
Monster Munch 1
Plain Popcorn
Miniature Halloween candy (candy corn, orange and black M&M’s, etc.)
Chocolate, melted
Pour the popcorn into a large bowl. Add miniature Halloween candy, as desired. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Serve.
** Healthy Version – Monster Munch 2
Plain Popcorn
Dried fruit
Chopped nuts
Honey
Combine popcorn, dried fruit and chopped nuts in a large bowl. Drizzle with honey. Serve.
Bloody Fingers
Bloody Fingers are a great way to freak out your friends and family! Here’s a simple way to make your own…
What you need:
Red candy melts
Pretzel rods
Almond Slice
Melt red candy melts as directed on the packaging. Dip half of each pretzel into the melted chocolate. Place an almond slice onto the tip on the pretzel to create a fingernail. Allow the chocolate to harden before serving.
** Healthy version – Dip sticks of string cheese into ketchup, then place an almond slice onto the tip and lay the “fingers” on a serving platter. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Rotten Pumpkin Teeth
The idea of eating someone’s (or something’s) teeth is just not appealing to anyone. Gross out your trick-or-treaters with Rotten Pumpkin Teeth.
Just fill a goody bag with a mix of candy corn flavors.
It’s so simple!
** Healthy Version – Fill a goody bag with small pieces of dried fruit such as banana, raisins and papaya.
Mini Mummies
You can’t have a freaky Halloween without mummies crawling out of the woodwork! Make your own mini mummies to add to your goody bag treats.
What you need:
White chocolate or white candy melts
Pretzel rods
Miniature chocolate chips
Break the pretzel rods in half. Melt chocolate or candy melts as directed on the packaging. Use a spoon to drizzle the chocolate over the pretzels. Place 2 miniature chocolate chips, near the top of the chocolate, to create eyes. Allow the chocolate to harden before serving.
** Healthy version – Use a banana in place of the pretzel rods.
I hope these ideas help you fill your freaky Halloween goody bags with treats that will spook everyone you know!
