Dinner Menu Ideas for the Week of 3/5/18
Monday – Shepherds Pie
We love Shepherds Pie, but I have my own recipe that I concocted. While I was getting this post ready, I realized that I don’t have it written on here. So, I’ll try to get to that soon! However, this Shepherds Pie from Life in the Lofthouse is very similar and looks delicious, so give it a try!
Tuesday – Leftovers
Nothing fancy here. We had Beef Stew over the weekend and the Shepherds Pie on Monday, so we’re sure to have a bunch of leftovers that need eating!
Wednesday – Easy Cheesy Broccoli and Potato Soup
Remember the warm weather that I was bragging about the other day? Yeah…that didn’t last – it’s been chilly and snowy here for the past few days. But, that’s okay! It gives us a chance to have our favorites soups, like this Easy Cheesy Broccoli and Potato Soup, a few more times before spring really sets in and I don’t want to spend time in the kitchen.
Thursday – BBQ Meatloaf and French Fries
My oldest daughter and the husband love meatloaf and since we haven’t had it in awhile, I thought these adorable Mini BBQ Meatloaf(s) should be on this weeks menu. It’s only fair that they get what they like, too…right? We’ll be having these with Homemade French Fries, too!
Friday – Chicken Alfredo Pizza
We haven’t had this Chicken Alfredo Pizza in forever, but the girls love it and as you know, we like to have a pizza night just about every week. Give it a try – you’ll love it! It’s creamy and chewy and all kinds of delicious – just don’t expect it to taste like regular homemade pizza, because it’s much more amazing than that!
Saturday – Spaghetti & Spicy Meat Sauce
Can you tell we love spaghetti as much as pizza? We seem to have it pretty often, but we all like it and it’s so simple to make! So, winner, winner spaghetti dinner!
Sunday – Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs, Bacon and Country Fried Potatoes
A nice lazy, Sunday dinner consisting of scrambled eggs, bacon and Country Fried Potatoes is the perfect way to end the weekend!
Bonus: Dessert – Apple Cranberry Cobbler
