~ 8 DIY Menu Planner Ideas ~
This past week, we talked about ways to save money on groceries and I also gave you a few reasons you should keep a running grocery list. So, I thought, since we’ve been talking about food, it would be fun to share some DIY menu planner ideas today!
Several years ago, when “make your own” chalkboard paint hit the scene, I made my own menu planner on the wall in my kitchen…
I even added a space to jot down groceries and other random things we need.
But, as I slowly work my way through my DIY home makeover, this wall will soon be changed. I’m really not sure yet, what I’m going to do to replace this menu planner of mine, but I’m sure I’ll come up with something.
In the meantime…here’s 8 DIY menu planner ideas from some other really awesome bloggers…

Weekly Meal Organizer
I love this Weekly Meal Organizer from Young and Crafty Sisters. What a smart idea using the index cards. This menu planner is absolutely gorgeous, but the directions make it look so easy!
Wall Menu Board
This wall menu board from Controlling My Chaos is super clean and professional looking with the pre-printed menu options!
The Menu Planner To Rule Them All
I just love how organized this menu planner is from The Thinking Closet. Placing the menu choices in those little boxes was genius!
Chalkboard Menu Board
This chalkboard menu board from Fussy Monkey Business is great for hanging on the wall in the kitchen to let the whole family know what is for dinner. And I love that you can leave space around the menu to write a fun quote!
Dry Erase Menu
This gorgeous family meal planner from August Joy Studios is super simple to make using a regular picture frame! Plus, you can make this menu planner in any size you like! Just use a bigger frame. I love that she added the shopping list space, too.
Printable Menu Planners
Printable menu planners from VLHamlinDesign are perfect to place inside a frame (just like the family meal planner above!). Plus, you can hang them on the fridge or the wall to share the meal ideas with the family or even place them inside your household binder instead.
Chalkboard Menu
This DIY chalkboard bead board menu board from Adventures of a DIY Mom is perfect for those of you with a rustic or shabby chic decor theme in your kitchen! It’s super simple to make and you can customize it to match your color scheme.
Refrigerator Menu
This DIY fridge menu board, from Genevieve Gail, is by far my favorite that I found in my quest to find these menu planner ideas for you. How awesome is this refrigerator?!
