Thinking about taking a trip to Tybee Island, Georgia? Come take a little tour with me before heading out to visit the real thing!
On our recent trip to Florida, we stayed for 2 nights in Tybee Island, Georgia and had so much fun touring the island.
We stayed in an adorable little condo that I rented from AirBnB and I’d seriously recommend you do that if you visit Tybee Island, too.
The price was way more affordable than the usual hotel prices. The condo was private, super clean and the best part is…it was literally, right on the ocean.
A simple walk out the door to the sea…it doesn’t get much better than that!
So, while we were there we did the usual cruise down the beach road to check things out and I saw this super “awesome” sign…
Ate breakfast at a cute little diner in the village…which I forgot to photograph!
Took a tour of Fort Pulaski…
And had dinner at the coolest restaurant called The Crab Shack.
One of my favorite things about The Crab Shack was these “garbage” tables. Right there, in the center of the table is a giant hole where drop your trash down into the garbage can.
There’s no cleanup for the waitress and no mess for the customer to try shoving into a trash can! Wish I’d had one of these at home when the kids were little!
And last but certainly not least, we took some pretty spectacular pictures of the sunset…
For just a day on the island, we sure filled it with lots of fun! So, are you ready to book your stay in Tybee Island, Georgia?
