Cherry-Berry Nectarine Fruit Salad

Advertiser Disclosure and Policies

Want a sweet and refreshing dessert for after dinner tonight? Try my Cherry-Berry Nectarine Fruit Salad – it’s quick and easy to make and tastes like candy!

One of my Gram’s favorite things to do was host a Memorial Day party…or cookout as she called it. Memorial day, of course, is the kick-off to summer and she loved summer.

So, to honor her this Memorial Day, the husband, the girls and I, had our own little cookout for dinner. We made some barbecue chicken and pork chops along with, traditional potato salad, Gram’s famous cucumber salad and a new Cherry-Berry Nectarine fruit salad for dessert.

Since my last post was so sad, I thought I’d share something fun today, too. So, here’s the recipe for this fruity new salad we made!

Cherry-Berry Nectarine Fruit Salad

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cherries, pitted and quartered
  • 3 nectarines, pitted and sliced
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup white sugar

Directions:

Combine the fruit in a large bowl.

Pour sugar over the top. DO NOT STIR!

Cover with plastic wrap and set aside (on the counter) for 2 hours prior to serving.

Remove plastic wrap from the bowl. Stir and serve.

Refrigerate any uneaten fruit salad.

Enjoy!
