And guess what? He even left instructions! Here’s how to make these yummy chocolate Easter Egg Rice Krispies –
Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 package mini marshmallows
- 5 cups rice krispies cereal
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
Heat the butter in a large pot, on low heat.
Add the marshmallows to the melted butter. Stir continuously until the marshmallows melt.
Pour the cereal and the mini chocolate chips into the melted marshmallow. Stir to combine.
Stuff the mixture into clean, plastic Easter eggs to mold (or just mold them with your hands).
Remove the egg krispies from the plastic eggs then, serve.
It’s that simple!
Let the Kids Decorate Their Easter Egg Rice Krispies!
Try colored candy melts instead of chocolate chips to make all different colored eggs…
Use royal icing to create fun egg designs…
Add colored candies to the mixture before molding…
Dip your eggs into colored icing…
Attach tiny candies or sprinkles and nonpareils onto the eggs using royal icing.
