Make your own Homemade Cinnamon Rolls from Scratch without waiting for overnight dough!
Hello – I hope you’re doing well! Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite ways to make homemade cinnamon rolls from scratch.
Because, I figured by now, your family is probably driving you crazy to make some snacks.
Am I right?
I know mine is! With everyone home, it seems like I’m baking something new almost everyday lately.
But, I don’t really mind.
I love having them all here.
It makes everything in the world seem okay, when we all know it really isn’t.
And you know what else makes everything better?
Homemade Cinnamon Rolls from Scratch
Really, they do! These delicious cinnamon buns are perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat any time of day.
And there’s no need to wait hours for the dough to set in the refrigerator, either!
We just use bread dough instead of sweet dough…
And it’s so easy!
Feel free to make it even easier on yourself and use premade bread dough from the grocery store if you have it available.
But, honestly, it’s not hard to make your own homemade bread!
And to make these homemade cinnamon rolls from scratch, you can use any kind of bread dough that has yeast in it.
So, go ahead and use your basic Italian bread recipe or your favorite Bread Machine Pizza Dough Recipe.
It really doesn’t make a difference! They’ll still come out perfectly!
Oh and you can freeze these Homemade Cinnamon Rolls for later, too!
Just go ahead and bake both pans, as directed in the recipe below.
Then, go ahead and wrap 1 of the pans with aluminum foil. Stick it in the freezer and save it for another day.
When you’re ready to eat them, just take the pan out of the freezer and loosen up the foil to allow some airflow through.
Allow them to thaw (on the counter) completely, then bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
Cool and glaze as directed in the recipe below.
So, the next time the kiddos (or the husband) are begging you for a sweet treat, whip up a batch of these Homemade Cinnamon Rolls from scratch.
You won’t be sorry!
