Looking for a sweet drink to quench your thirst…without a bunch of sugar? Try this Cranberry Pomegranate Iced Tea recipe – you’ll love it!
Happy Monday! I hope you’re feeling awesome today!
Since it’s warming up around here, I thought it would be a great time to update this Cranberry Pomegranate Iced Tea recipe.
Not only does it taste amazing, but it costs less than a dollar to make a whole pitcher!
So, you’re going to want to stick around and give this delicious drink a try!
I love making homemade iced tea!
But, most days, occasionally, between the morning hot coffee and afternoon iced coffee, I drink a little too much caffeine.
Okay, I drink “a lottle” too much caffeine. I admit it.
So, sometimes, I have to switch to a drink that has less caffeine in it.
And that’s where my pretty pink Cranberry Pomegranate Iced Tea comes in!
It’s Healthy for You Too!
It’s made with green tea, so the caffeine level is about 28 milligrams versus the whopping 96 milligrams that you would find your average 8 ounce cup of home-brewed coffee.
According to WebMD, green tea is packed full of antioxidants and some studies have shown that it could possibly lower blood pressure and cholesterol, stabilize blood sugar and might even destroy cancer cells!
Pretty amazing stuff, huh?!
This simple iced tea is super delicious and amazingly refreshing.
And, the honey in this recipe gives it just enough sweetness.
Plus, the sweet cranberry and pomegranate flavor more than makes up for the reduced amount of caffeine!
Oh and by the way, a box of these tea bags costs around $2.50 in most grocery stores. There are 20 in a box…which makes the cost of the tea in this recipe only about 25₵ per pitcher (plus the cost of honey and lemon juice)! You can’t beat that!
Can’t find these tea bags at your local grocery? They are available on Amazon in a 6 pack!
So, go ahead! Try it out on the next super hot day or serve it at your next Sunday brunch or afternoon tea.
Or just make some for yourself, because you’re special. And every day is special, too!
