4 Ingredient Creamy Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad

This 4 ingredient creamy chicken Caesar pasta salad is a delicious change up from your normal summer cold pasta dish. It doesn’t require a lot of ingredients, prep or time to make and it’s pretty light and refreshing considering! 

Pasta salad is a great side summer dish but this one includes protein so it can act as the main dish, a quick lunch or even a easy snack for a hot day. 

It stays really great in the fridge and seems to get better with time! So prepping the night before a BBQ or making a big batch for the week ahead is totally do-able.

Even my kiddo that doesn’t favor creamy-style, cold foods loves this pasta salad because it isn’t too overpowering in dressing flavor and the particular pasta I use is just right.

4 Ingredient Creamy Chicken Caesar Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 box bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb pre-shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 12 fl oz. Marie Caesar dressing
  • 5 oz. container of shaved Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Bring a saucepan of water to a rolling boil with a dash of olive oil added. 
  2. Add pasta and cook until just past al dente.
  3. Strain pasta and spray down with cold water to stop the cooking process.
  4. Mix chicken, Caesar dressing and shaved Parmesan cheese into a large bowl.
  5. Set in the fridge to cool and “marinate” for at least 30 minutes before serving.

I don’t know about you but I am a sucker for any, and all pasta salads. It just screams sweet summertime! 

If you are going to be enjoying this dish the day or days after making you can save a tablespoon or two of the dressing and just drop it in and mix right before you serve. Freshens the entire dish up!
