February Meal Plan

February 2015 Meal Plan

I’ve been meal planning on and off for a long time. But, every time I slip off the wagon and stop planning our menu, I find myself spending more and more money on groceries. This year, I’ve set a goal to stay on the wagon and continue planning our meals ahead of time. I save so much money at the grocery store when I meal plan and the “dinnertime blues” don’t set in quite as often.

For me, a monthly plan works best. I find that I’m more likely to stick to the menu if I have a lot of choices. Maybe you prefer a weekly plan or even a daily menu plan and that’s great. Use what works best for you and your family.

Here’s how I plan my family’s dinner meals:

At the end of each month, I jot down a list of meals, depending on how many days there are in the next month.

Each week I pick meals from the list (based on what I have available for ingredients) and write down those 7 meals on my meal planner.

Then, each day I pick a meal from my meal planner to make for dinner that night.

I don’t stress over what day I am preparing which meal. I’ve given up on daily meal planning. It just doesn’t work for me.

What if I don’t want to have pizza on Friday?

There’s no pressure!

You have to do what works for you!

Here is my list of 28 meals for February…I’ll be adding more of the recipes as the month goes on. I hope you enjoy them!
