So, head to the office supply store and let them each pick out their favorite color binder, a simple 1 inch will do for students in elementary school, while you might need a 2″ for those in middle and high school.

Print out as many planners as you need for each class per student. Just print these on regular copy paper…no need to get fancy!
Use a 3-hole punch to punch holes along the sides of each planner and place them into your planner binder.
Allow the kids to doodle, paint or draw on the fronts of their binders to make them more personalized (and to keep them busy while they are desperately waiting to go back to school).
