Did someone say asparagus? Yum! I LOVE asparagus. It can tend to be a little bitter so if you add in the right ingredients to cut that down it is delicious!! With this oven roasted garlic Parmesan asparagus with lemon recipe you can master the flavors you find in the restaurants.
Also in comparison to some fresh veg that require cooking it is on the easier side. I feel my taste buds reacting already…
Oven Roasted Garlic Parmesan Asparagus with Lemon
Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of fresh asparagus spears
- 1 bunch of fresh asparagus spears
- 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tbsp. of Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder, or minced/squeezed garlic
- Fresh lemon
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F
- Then wash and trim your asparagus spears by bending them until they snap at the natural place the woody end.
- Place your spears on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic and Parmesan cheese.
- Now oven roast the spears for 13-16 minutes or until tender.
- Finish with fresh squeezed lemon.
- Serve immediately!
