Homemade Christmas Cookie Recipes

Looking for simple and delicious, homemade Christmas cookie recipes? Look no further – here’s 4 of my absolute favorite recipes for Christmas cookies that you don’t want to miss!

It’s no secret that I love to make cookies…especially Christmas cookies.

In fact, I usually make so many cookies that we end up saving the leftover cookies for future use.

Unfortunately, this year I just don’t seem to have as much time for baking and so, I’m planning to stick to our family favorites instead of trying out a ton of new recipes.

These recipes are easy to make, require simple ingredients and are ready to eat in less than 30 minutes!

And, since it’s National Cookie Day, I thought it would be a great day to share with you our favorite homemade Christmas cookie recipes…these are the four that I will absolutely stick with this year, although I’m sure I’ll throw in a few others if I can find the time.

Enjoy!

Homemade Christmas Cookie Recipes

Soft & Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

I love peanut butter cookies. In fact, they’re probably my favorite cookies on earth.

But, they’ve got to be soft and chewy peanut butter cookies.

Crunchy, hard cookies just won’t cut it.

And if you’re a peanut butter cookie lover, then you just found the best soft and chewy peanut butter cookies recipe that you’re ever going to find.

For Real.

They’re so soft and chewy, with a super thin, crust and sugary outside…they just melt in your mouth.

Orange Oatmeal Spice Cookies

These Orange Oatmeal Spice Cookies are not only delicious, but they’re super easy to make which puts them high up on my list of favorite Christmas cookies!

From start to finish, these cookies are ready in about 15 minutes – you just can’t beat that unless you’re using a packaged mix.

So, what are you waiting for? Get baking, my friend!

Cinnamon Vanilla Cake Mix Cookies

Most of the time I make cookies from scratch. I very rarely use a package mix, but when we need a quick treat these Cinnamon Vanilla Cake Mix Cookies do the trick every time.

They’re delicious and so simple to throw together.

Cake mix cookies are perfect for any occasion.

My favorite way to make these is with cinnamon and vanilla. But, you can alter the recipe however you like.

Use chocolate, strawberry, funfetti or even spice cake mix instead of yellow.

Try different spices and flavor extracts.

Or if you want to make them super special for the kids, add chocolate chips, holiday sprinkles or candy to the mix.

They’ll love them!

4 Ingredient Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

These cookies are my husband’s absolute favorite but, the kids and I love them, too.

Only I don’t just love them because they are delicious!

The real reason I love these Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies is because are SO easy to make and the recipe only requires 4 ingredients…all of which I usually have on hand.

Try them today.

You have time. I promise.
