Looking for a quick and easy dinner to make tonight? My family’s favorite Honey BBQ Chicken is perfect for any busy weeknight, weekend barbecue or family gathering!
Honey BBQ Chicken Recipe
My Honey BBQ Chicken recipe is one of our family favorites and I make it pretty often. We eat a lot of chicken around here. Usually 3 to 4 times a week!
It’s important that we have a lot of chicken recipes to choose from or we’d get pretty bored with dinner!
But, with that said, I realized that I haven’t shared this recipe with you!
Maybe you’re in need of a new chicken recipe?
If you are, then definitely try this one!
Your family will love this Honey BBQ Chicken, because you can tweak the dry seasoning to make just about any flavor you want.
Honey BBQ Chicken
- 4 or 5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cups cold water
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 tablespoons dry BBQ seasoning (We like Weber’s Classic BBQ Seasoning, but you can use whatever you have on hand)
- 2 to 3 tablespoons honey
Place the chicken breasts into a large bowl. Cover with cold water. Sprinkle kosher salt into the water.
Allow the chicken to soak in the water for 10 to 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Remove the chicken from the water and pat dry.
Sprinkle dry BBQ seasoning on both sides of the chicken breasts. Place chicken into a large casserole dish.
Bake, uncovered, for 18 to 20 minutes or until the juices run clear when pricked with a fork. Remove from oven.
Using a tablespoon at a time, drizzle the honey over the chicken breasts, until all the honey has been used.
Return the chicken to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until golden brown.
So, what are you doing?
Go! Get some chicken out of the freezer and make this super-simple recipe for dinner tonight!
