Do you love herbal tea, but hate forking out the excess price for it at the grocery store? Learn how to make your own, delicious and relaxing tea, with this easy to follow tutorial!
I’ve had a terrible head cold this past week. My daughter brought it home from the local petri-dish (aka school). But, the benefit is that I’ve been drinking a lot of herbal tea. It’s one of my favorite ways to comfort myself when I’m sick. Not only does the warm steam feel good against my raw nose, it also helps to soothe my throat – which is reason enough to drink it, right? Since I have tea on the brain, I thought it would be a great time to share with you how to make your own herbal tea! Although, just so you know (if you didn’t already) – what we call herbal tea – is actually a decoction or infusion of herbs, dried fruits and/or other dried plants. Basically, this means to soak the herbs and dried fruits or plants in hot water to get the good stuff out. A “real” tea will always contain actual “tea” – like black tea, green tea, white tea, etc. Anyway… It’s really very simple to make your own herbal tea and it’s so much cheaper than anything you can find at the store. Plus, when you mix your own, you can make sure that the herbs, fruits and or other add-ins are 100% natural and organic. And of course, you can make any flavor that you like! So, let’s make some tea, shall we?How to Make Your Own Herbal Tea
