Do you love herbal tea, but hate forking out the excess price for it at the grocery store? Learn how to make your own, delicious and relaxing tea, with this easy to follow tutorial!
Drinking herbal tea is one of my favorite ways to comfort myself whether I’m sick, tired, stressed out or even just because I want a cup of tea. Not only does the warm steam feel good on a chilly, fall or winter day, but herbal teas have so many health benefits, too! Which is reason enough to drink it, right?
Since fall is in the air and the weather is cooling down, I thought it would be a great time to share with you how to make your own herbal tea!
Although, just so you know (if you didn’t already) – what we call herbal tea – is actually a decoction or infusion of herbs, dried fruits and/or dried roots. Basically, this means to soak the herbs and dried fruits or plants in hot water to get the good stuff out.
A real tea will always contain actual “tea” – like black tea, green tea, white tea, etc.
It’s really very simple to make your own herbal tea and it’s so much cheaper than anything you can find at the store. Plus, when you mix your own, you can make sure that the herbs, fruits and or other add-ins are 100% natural and organic.
And of course, you can make any flavor that you like!
So, let’s make some tea, shall we?
