Sausage Alfredo Pasta

My family loves a good pasta meal. Truthfully we cook at least one a week. They are so easy and hearty and with a gaggle of growing girls it gets the job done.

Pro tip: It makes them sleep like a rock! And well, same for me too. So this sausage alfredo pasta not only changes up your usual alfredo dish but also helps in filling you up and keeping you sleepy all through the night.

This one is easy to make ahead if you want, or could be made into a bake that you freeze as well. You can do a lot with it! I love a good versatile meal especially when feeding a family!

The added flavors from the kielbasa and bacon really enhances this pasta dish. It blends so well with the creamy alfredo sauce and makes for a true comfort dish.

Sausage Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 2 ropes of kielbasa, cut into chunks
  • 1 pound of bacon
  • 2 cups of fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 pound fettuccini noodles, or any other preferred pasta noodle

Directions:

  1. Cut your kielbasa into chunks and cook stovetop until lightly browned, set aside.
  2. Bake your bacon in the oven at 375 degrees for roughly 20 minutes or until finished.
  3. Remove bacon from oven, place on a plate lined with paper towel to allow grease to drip off.
  4. Dice your bacon into small pieces.
  5. Boil broccoli stovetop until tender. Drain, set aside.
  6. Cook your fettuccini noodles until al dente. Strain.
  7. Combine kielbasa, bacon, broccoli into noodles, then prepare your alfredo sauce.

Alfredo Sauce
