Savory and Spicy Cowboy Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 1- 1.5 pounds ground hamburg
- Package of sub rolls (6 rolls)
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup of hot sauce, or more, to taste (I like Texas Pete)
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 large onion, diced
Directions:
- Melt 1/2 a stick of butter in a skillet, sauté onions. Do not drain skillet.
- Remove onions from butter.
- Add hamburg and break up into large chunks cooking on medium heat until no longer pink.
- Pour in Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce.
- Add 1/2 stick of butter cubed.
- Lower heat and allow to simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- While simmering, melt 1 stick of butter on a second skillet or flat top.
- Grill rolls on butter.
- Remove all from heat and build your sandwiches.
