Sometimes, I like to remake classic favorites such as Sloppy Joes and turn them into something new like this Sloppy Joe Goulash.
We all love Sloppy Joes, but it can be tiring having the same old sandwich and lots of times, you just don’t have the hamburger buns on hand.
But, this Sloppy Joe Goulash is easy to make with any kind of pasta you have it home. Plus, beyond the noodles, you’ll only need 3 simple ingredients that you likely already have in your pantry!
Ground beef (or turkey or chicken or bison or venison – any ground meat will do!)…
Crushed tomatoes and…
Oh and it’s a one-pot meal, too, making cleanup super easy!
What could be better?!
So, the next time you realize you’re out of buns, try this yummy Sloppy Joe Goulash recipe instead.
You’ll be glad you did!
Like this Sloppy Joe Goulash recipe, but want to add more to it? Here’s some super yummy ideas…
Make it healthier – Add in a cup or so of your favorite vegetables. Fresh, frozen or canned all work well – just throw them into the pot when you add the crushed tomatoes.
Spice it up – Mix hot Italian sausage, chorizo or even chopped up pepperoni to the ground beef when browning. Or use a spicy barbecue sauce instead of your classic honey or brown sugar.
Make it vegetarian – Leave the meat out and add 2 cups of your favorite vegetables instead. You could also use a plant based meat substitute, too!
