This Valentine’s Day Treat for Kids should be right up your alley if you want something different to try, or if you prefer a sweet in liquid form!
For Valentine’s Day you can get consumed with making out the cards for the classroom and baking treats.
As a mom of three I love to do fun holiday themed food and drink! It makes for a memorable and fun experience for both the kids and myself.
This Valentine’s strawberry cream soda treat is the perfect blend of creamy sweetness to enjoy with your tiny sweeties.
Another perk? It can be sweetened up or toned down to your liking very easily.
Valentine’s Treat for Kids: Strawberry Cream Soda
What You Will Need:
- Clear drinking glass
- Metallic pens
- Toothpicks
- Strawberry syrup
- Half & half
- Pink or red sugar
- Strawberries
- Club Soda
- Whipped cream
- Milk Straws
What You Will Do:
- Decorate your glass with sweet notes and designs.
- Cut the green off of your strawberry and cut a middle slit to form a heart shape.
- Push a toothpick through your strawberry at an angle.
- Dip the rim of your cup with strawberry syrup and then candy sugar.
- Fill your cup 1/3 of the way with ice.
- Add 2-3 tablespoons of strawberry syrup.
- Pour in club soda to fill the cup 3/4 of the way.
- Finish with 1/2 & 1/2.
- Top with whipped cream.
- Place a your strawberry across the lip of the cup.
